Thursday 18th March Evening Gridwork & Pole Work Clinic with Fiona Harrison (BHSI)BSc(Hons)

Join us for our evening clinic with Fiona Harrison indoor at Askham Bryan.

This clinic incorporates pole and gridwork exercises to improve balance and agility of both horse and rider to enable better course jumping.

This training will accommodate beginners up to BE Novice standards, young horses, ROR and first timers all welcome. Sessions will run between 5pm-9pm.

Groups of similar standard with maximum of 5 riders per group. Each session will last approx. 60 minutes.

Fiona is a BE Accredited Coach, BHS Level 5 Performance Coach (BHSI)BSc(Hons) Fiona is Academy Director and Coach at Askham Bryan College and has many years experience of rehabbing race horses and producing a wide variety of young horses. She has competed horses to three star level Eventing, Advanced level Dressage and Show Jumped at both National and International levels. Additionally she is a BHS Senior Assessor and Pony Club examiner. Fiona has a calm manner and is excellent at teaching all levels, getting the best out of any horse and rider combination. Young, green and nervous horses welcome.


Clinic Options:

Clinic 1: Beginners max height 55cm

Clinic 2: Novice 55cm-65cm

Clinic 3: Medium 65cm-85cm

Clinic 4: Advanced 85cm-1m

Entries Close For This Event On Monday 16th March  at 6.00pm

Please note on competition days if times are running ahead later entries may be contacted to see if you can arrive earlier than your allocated time (no problem at all just aiming to beat the darkness where possible in these winter months!)

Flu Vaccination: Your horse must have been vaccinated after 18th September 2019 to come at this event.


Please make sure you carry your passport – these may be checked to ensure vaccinations are up to date, following vet advice Blueberry Events and our competition venues insist that all horses attending must have had their flu vaccination booster every 6 months,
This is both to protect other horses at the venues as well as your own pride and joy!
Please ensure your horses vaccinations are up to date (within 6 months) as we will not allow you on site without the correct cover and no refund of entry fees will be given if this happens.
We hope you understand this is for everyone’s horses welfare .

Cancellation Policy

Two or more weeks notice= credit to use at future blueberry events

Less than two weeks notice= No refund or credit

If Blueberry event cancels an event or you cancel your entry within the cancellation policy you have 14 days to confirm which event you would like you entry transferring to or to ask for a refund. After 14 days your entry will become invalid and no refund will be given.
